I love learning, especially when it comes to sexuality, mindset, emotions, neuroscience, human behavior, and relationships. Combining my years of research in the social and emotional learning, connection and belonging space + my life coaching and sex and intimacy training - I will dive into all things erOtic this summer.

- Eroticism is the deliberate seeking of pleasure.

- Eroticism goes beyond sex.

- Eroticism is about joy, creativity, passion, vibrancy, vitality, connection, spontaneity, curiosity - the qualities that make us feel alive.

-Erotic intelligence is seeking pleasure in a skillful way.

What does sex mean to you?

💡 Erotic Intelligence is about knowing who you are.

In the realm of sex, erotic intelligence starts with challenging the way we think about sex.

First, it is important to understand that …

➡ Sex is more than an act ( with a beginning, middle, and end). (**also it is more than a penetrative act)

 ➡ Sex is not about an outcome; it is about the journey and the experience.

💡 Next, start exploring and building your Erotic Intelligence by asking yourself:

(1) What does sex mean to me? & (2) Where do I go when I have sex? (** Remember it is a journey and an experience!)

Is it a spiritual experience?

- Fun, entertainment

- An obligation

- Meaningless

- A place to connect emotionally

- A place to explore

- A place to escape

- A place to forget

- A place to be adventurous

- A place to express love

- A place to be seen and appreciated

- A place to feel desired

- A place where you get to be taken care of, have more control, or have less control

- A place to connect to your naughty side

- A place to connect to your playful side

- A place to destress

- A place to give and take freely

- A place to safely be greedy

- A place to surrender

- What else?

 You may have a few answers to these questions, depending on who you are with or what's going on in your life.

Take some time this week and reflect on these questions.

💗 Be kind and compassionate if you come up with an answer that makes you uncomfortable. This is part of developing your erotic intelligence.

 💡 Erotic Intelligence is seeking pleasure in a skillful way - which includes getting curious and learning to BE with uncomfortable feelings, feeling them, and not reacting or resisting them.
