How building my business is deeply erotic...

Eroticism is about seeking pleasure and tapping into qualities like curiosity, spontaneity, vibrancy, and aliveness. 

When you're on this path, it’s not all pleasure, though. It’s vulnerability. It’s experiencing and moving through discomfort and uncertainty.  It’s letting go of control.

And yet, this process? It’s deeply connective. It’s transformational. 

 Here’s how I infuse the erotic into my business-building process, not only to grow professionally but also personally. 

 ✨ Connect with my body 

Pause. Check in. What am I feeling? What sensations am I feeling?  Where do I feel the sensations in my body? Slowing down lets me reconnect and work from a place of awareness.

✨ Focus on the process, not the outcome 

Of course, goals and outcomes matter. But this business-building journey is also about who I am becoming. I prioritize the joy of growth over the final results (** and coach myself when my brain starts to freak out and focuses on outcomes and scarcity- this is an ongoing process!!). 

 ✨ Keep promises to myself 

Whether it’s showing up for a post, sending that email, or networking at an event, I strengthen trust with myself by doing what I said I would—even if no one else sees it ( getting better with this every day!)

✨  Dream and play in possibility 

I give myself lots of time and space to imagine. I imagine the people my work will impact and envision how I will grow and what I will experience along the way.  That excitement fuels everything. (** give yourself lots of time to dream and play)
